Lineberry Factory Cart Parts.com

For much of the 1900s, Lineberry Foundry and Machine Company rapidly produced and supplied four-wheel carts to furniture, textile, and other factories across the Southeast. Initially based in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, the company later expanded its production to Wilkesboro, meeting the high regional demand.

The industrial age has long since passed; however, what it left behind is a genuine item of functional art. These carts seamlessly fit into various settings, including lofts, country farmhouses, beachfront homes, cabins, or hunting lodges, complementing all styles of homes. The timeless appearance of these Antique Factory Carts will not only add a touch of history to your home but also serve as a focal point in any room. If you've ever desired to own a piece of history, consider one of the vintage original styles of Lineberry Factory Carts as the perfect antique treasure for your home.

Introducing Our Factory Cart Replacement Hardware - Precision Aligned with Lineberry Brand OEM Specifications!

Our comprehensive kits encompass a variety of original hardware items. This includes carriage bolts, split washers, and a choice between the original square head nuts or the later hex head nuts. Additionally, cotter pins for the casters and various nails for reassembly, covering both frame and deck types. For late-model carts, our kits also include wheel bearings, sleeves, and washers.

Notably, our factory brand stamp lettering kits are available, precisely matching all three versions of Lineberry Foundry & Machine Company's factory stamp lettering fonts. These versions include the Original-type, type-1, and type-2 as the company's factory stamp evolved over the years with changing ownership.

For added versatility, we provide a stabilizer kit designed to level the cart and modify the caster wheels for adjustable positioning and secure locking. This kit comprises a T-handle wrench, a high carbon steel tapping tool, a drill bit, black alloy steel extended point set screws, and cotter pins for the casters.

As an exclusive offer, certain hardware kits come with a free copy of our factory cart restoration manual, also available for separate purchase. This manual offers step-by-step instructions, guiding you through the process of transforming a worn-out relic into a stunning centerpiece. Originally known as a factory floor truck, later a factory cart, and now a factory cart coffee table, the manual covers disassembly, frame, and deck restoration techniques (including re-finishing), re-lettering of the original factory stamp, preparation and treatment for iron castings, reassembly techniques, and essential product sources, encompassing formulas, fillers, stains, and coatings. Following these instructions in conjunction with our kits ensures professional results!

Purchased one of these Lineberry factory carts from Wayne, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. You can definitely see the detail and time that he puts into restoring these beautiful pieces of history. And the quality is unmatched compared to other carts I have seen online for less money. He restores every piece of these carts, even down to re-threading the nuts & bolts so they are 100% original. I would definitely recommend paying the extra amount for one of his carts. Exploring the Legacy of Vintage Lineberry Factory Trucks, Also Recognized as Factory Carts

Wayne Walker,

Owner

Factory Cart Restorations, spearheaded by lifelong craftsman Wayne Walker, is a venture rooted in five decades of experience in construction and woodworking. Wayne's extensive background includes ownership of companies in Southeast and Southwest Florida, encompassing both the manufacturing of custom millwork, also design and build general contractor situated in Boca Raton and Sarasota.

The genesis of Factory Cart Restorations emerged when Wayne, upon sale and closing of a factory he owned, recognized the untapped potential of the Factory Trucks, also known as Factory Carts, which had faithfully served in his wood Moulding and millwork plants for many years. These carts, having transported countless tons of goods across shop floors, held sentimental value, yet faced limited market prospects for their original design.

Determined to breathe new life into these industrial workhorses and elevate their charm, Wayne conceived the idea of repurposing them into unique furniture, specifically coffee tables. While not a groundbreaking concept back when he started the venture in 2010, it had yet to gain widespread popularity by presenting an opportune niche.

Drawing upon his wealth of manufacturing experience, Wayne embarked on creating top-tier Factory Cart Restorations. The success of this endeavor marked a significant turning point. A burgeoning trend emerged, capturing the enthusiasm of those seeking an enjoyable and challenging restoration journey. Wayne, having achieved success, now generously shares his knowledge, experience, and sources with others through a comprehensive instruction manual, serving as an invaluable resource for those embarking on their Factory Cart restoration adventure.

A comment from Wayne:

"It has truly been my pleasure collaborating with Factory Cart Restoration over the past several years. Navigating numerous challenges to achieve the perfect look and ensuring that all elements seamlessly come together has been a rewarding journey.

What particularly resonates with me is the notion of breathing new life into these magnificent old workhorses of industry. Many have faced abandonment and even discardment, but each one we rescue adds to the promotion of renewable resources.

Genuinely pleased to contribute to all those who share a similar passion for what have now evolved into timeless treasures. "
